Payment & Security

We accept Cash payment (Euros, GBP, USD, and Mauritian Rupees) and cards like Visa & Mastercard for payment of rental at counter. The pay at counter includes the vehicle, Rental Assist & Addons. Secured Payment links for each components of the Pay at the counter are sent to customers and processed only after vehicle is verified. Payments are to be effected after the vehicle has been verified by the customer

Deposit

Insurance deposit is mandatory as per rental terms and conditions and despite the customer has purchased a full coverage with the broker. We accept cash or credit cards only to pre authorize this deposit. The credit card must be on the driver’s name. The rental company may cancel the the car delivery if the credit card being used is not in the name of the driver. A different credit card may be accepted if the cardholder sign a consent form for the pre authorization transaction and the rental company. The rental company may void the reservation and start a new one should there be any change to main driver holding no valid credit card on his name. The deposit pre authorized varies between vehicle category.

The deposit

1. is fully forfeited where damage costs exceeds the pre authorized amount
2. is fully forfeited where the rental company cannot any estimate due to limited time between incident reported & customer departing time
3. is released only if the customer has paid for the estimate of repairs

The deposit is released by Visa between 7 to 14 days after the vehicle is returned.
